New Zealand and South Africa are both established cricketing nations. Last year, both teams did well and their fans will hope for an even better show in Australia. Hence, when it comes to viewership, the broadcasters need not be worried as it will be high.

Both South Africa and New Zealand are not listed as teams in the list of favourites who could win the trophy. However, both these sides are capable of going all the way. While the Kiwis reached the final last year, the Proteas missed the semi-final berth by a short margin. Both squads will be targeting a consistent performance in the 2022 T20 WC.
South Africa has a solid pace attack that is backed by the likes of Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Aiden Markram in the batting unit. If skipper Temba Bavuma can find form, it would be hard to stop the Proteas. On the other hand, New Zealand has a balanced T20I unit comprising the likes of Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson. Kane Williamson‘s form is a concern but if he hits the right note, the team will be difficult to beat.
