Wanindu Hasaranga

Wanindu Hasaranga didn’t live up to the expectations this year as he went for a lot of runs and didn’t look in his rhythm as well. The Chinnaswamy surface didn’t help him as well as he was taken to the cleaners. His poor performance was the reason behind RCB struggling to take wickets in the middle over this season. During the second half of the season, he was even dropped from the team. Therefore, his performance might make team management make some bold decisions and release him. Even if they release him and pick a good Indian spinner in the team, they can then play two overseas pacers as well.

Harshal Patel

Time is running for Harshal Patel as since the last two seasons, he hasn’t been up to the mark. Not only his economy has been high but he has failed to take wickets as well. This year as well he leaked a lot of runs and was one of the main reasons RCB failing to defend big targets. He might be one of the shocking releases RCB might do for next season. In his place, they can look to buy someone else as he really has been one of the biggest disappointments for them for the last two seasons.
