3 players Rajasthan Royals can target to replace Prasidh Krishna for IPL 2024

BCCI has confirmed that Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of IPL 2024. It needs to be noted that he could not take part in even IPL 2023. Now, Rajasthan Royals will look to bring in an apt replacement for the fast bowler. On that note, here, we take a look at the three players Rajasthan Royals can target to replace Prasidh Krishna for IPL 2024.

1) Basit Bashir

Basit Bashir is a fast bowler who hails from Jammu & Kashmir. There are a lot of sources which suggest that Basit could be a good signing for RR.

Barring Trent Boult, RR does not have a reliable left-arm pacer. Since Basit is a left-arm bowler, he stands a good chance to get picked for IPL 2024.

2) Sarfaraz Khan

RR already has Avesh Khan, Kuldeep Sen, Navdeep Saini and Sandeep Sharma in the team. Hence, they might actually not need a replacement for Prasidh Krishna.

With the Mega Auctions likely to happen, if RR can hire Musheer Khan, they could retain him as an uncapped player for the future.

He is a good player who can play at various slots in the batting order, just like his brother. Plus, he can also bowl left-arm spin, something that RR could struggle with at the moment. Hence, Musheer is on this list.
