3 teams with the best all-phase pacers in IPL 2024

The Impact Player rule has lessened the importance of pacers, who have the skills to excel in all the phases of the game. However, such pacers are still an asset as they give the captain a number of tactics to work with. Also, if a bowler in the team has a bad day, such players usually come to the rescue. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three teams with the best all-phase pacers in IPL 2024.

1) Mumbai Indians (Jasprit Bumrah, Gerald Coetzee and Dilshan Madushanka)

Mumbai Indians have Jasprit Bumrah, who is one of the best all-phase pacer in the game. He can open with the new ball, operate in the middle-overs and as we all know, he is reliable at the end, too.

Gerald Coetzee is someone who comes in the same mould. He certainly has the talent to excel across the 20 overs. Dilshan Madushanka is at his best with the new ball but in recent months, he has also shown his skills in the other phases.

2) Gujarat Titans (Mohammed Shami, Kartik Tyagi and Spencer Johnson)

Gujarat Titans is one of the teams with the best all-phase pacers in IPL 2024. Shami is one of the best in the league in this regard. However, he definitely has scope for improvement at the death.

Spencer Johnson is the latest entrant to this pace attack. If GT plays a foreign pacer, he is likely to get his chance. Kartik Tyagi is an upcoming Indian bowler who can become a reliable all-phase pacer.

3) Punjab Kings (Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Sam Curran)

Punjab Kings has a diverse pace attack. Yet, it is surprising that they have not been doing well. That said, the fans will be hoping for the team to perform well in IPL 2024.

Rabada can bowl anywhere in the innings and so does Arshdeep. Sam Curran’s recent touch with the ball is not great but he has the swing to bowl in the powerplay and the variations for the other phases.
