Potential Spoiler On WWE’s Plans For Roman Reigns At Crown Jewel And Survivor Series 2023 – Reports

A major spoiler related to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns has surfaced online. Roman is set to make his return to WWE soon. The reigning WWE undisputed universal champion will be reportedly involved in two high profile matches in the remainder of the year.

According to Dave Meltzer of the wrestling observer newsletter, Roman Reigns will put his title on the line against John Cena at WWE Crown Jewel. After that Reigns is expected to defend his champion in a first time ever match against the megastar LA Knight.

Roman Reigns has been the undisputed WWE universal champion for more than 1000 days. He has defeated almost every superstar on the main roster. However, John Cena won the last time he was in the ring with Roman Reigns. It was the final SmackDown episode of 2022, where Cena came out as a surprise tag team partner for Kevin Owens against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

John Cena and LA Knight will take on Roman Reigns’ family members before battling him

John Cena is set to team up with LA Knight this Saturday at WWE Fastlane 2023 where he will take on the bloodline members Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. It looks like Cena and Knight will win this match which will earn them a future shot at Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE universal championship.

Since the next two premium live events after Fastlane are Crown Jewel and survivor series. The two superstars will accordingly get the title shots at two shows. It looks unlikely that any of them will defeat Roman Reigns for the title. Although fans would like to see Cena dethrone Reigns and become a 17-time world champion, WWE may want to elevate a younger star by booking him to defeat Reigns.

It will be interesting to see how the feud progresses. Earlier in the year, there were also rumor mills spreading the spoiler of AJ Styles challenging Roman Reigns.
