A few reports claim that Josh Hazlewood might pull out of IPL 2025. This is to remain injury-free for the WTC finals. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three cricketers RCB can target if Josh Hazlewood pulls out of IPL 2025.

1) Gus Atkinson

With the Englishman, there will be availability and fitness issues as well. However, with no major tournament apart from the India Test series, Atkinson could play in IPL 2025.

He offers raw pace, something which the current options at RCB don’t offer. The English pacer can operate with the new ball and can be used as an enforcer, too.

2) Naveen-ul-Haq can be a choice if Josh Hazlewood pulls out of IPL 2025

Naveen-ul-Haq is one of the cricketers RCB can target if Josh Hazlewood pulls out of IPL 2025. There are not many choices in the market right now.

Hence, Naveen could be an option for the side. Nuwan Thushara will then become the lead overseas pacer with Naveen serving as the backup.

3) Will O’Rourke

It is more about the investment that RCB can make in the Kiwi. He is a future star and hence, there is potential in him waiting to be tapped.
