WWE Payback Early Predictions: Predicting The Full Match Card For The PPV

WWE SummerSlam happened last Saturday in Detroit, with a host of matches entertaining the fans at the Ford Field. Now that the biggest party of the summer has ended, predictions have started for the next premium live event – WWE Payback. The show is scheduled to happen at the PPG Paints Arena on September 2.

Big names like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have not been advertised for the show, meaning they will skip this premium live event. Seth Rollins is likely to headline the show in a World Heavyweight Championship match against The Judgment Day members Damian Priest and Finn Balor.

Rhea Ripley is currently involved in an intense rivalry with former women’s tag team champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. It seems likely that fans will witness a singles match between Raquel and Rhea for the Women’s World Championship at Payback.

IYO Sky captured the WWE Women’s Championship after a successful Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam. Fans have been making various predictions for her first title defense at SummerSlam, and it seems like we may get a singles match between IYO and Bianca Belair, who became the new champion in Detroit before losing it to Sky.

Santos Escobar has become the new number one contender for the United States Championship. He will challenge Austin Theory for the title on an upcoming episode of SmackDown. It seems unlikely that the match will have a clean finish. Perhaps, fans can get a ladder match for the title at Payback.

WWE Payback 2023 complete match card predictions

Considering how Triple H books the premium live events these days, around seven to eight matches should take place at WWE Payback 2023.
