He has broken numerous records including being the only batter in the world who has scored three double-centuries in the ODIs along with having the most centuries in World Cup.

The upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh will be a golden opportunity to leave a mark and remind his critics as why he as rated as one of the best batters. His stats in the ODIs are exceptionally well as in 233 games so far that he has played, the left-hander has amassed 9376 runs at an average of 48.58 and strike rate of 89.18 respectively. Also, he has 29 centuries and 45 half-centuries in those games.
