“Let The Goat Do His Thing”- Riyan Parag Responds To Fan Question About Advice For Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is one of the most successful batters in cricket history, but the right-handed batter is having a tough time in his career right now. Runs have dried up for Kohli in the last four matches as he has struggled to score big for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He got out for a golden duck against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants, while he managed nine runs against Rajasthan Royals last night.

Looking at his recent dip in form, a popular website posted a fan question on their social media. They uploaded multiple photos of Virat Kohli looking unhappy after getting out early in recent matches.

They captioned the image with the question, asking fans what advice they would give to Virat. Riyan Parag, who is a big fan of the former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, replied:

Riyan Parag took the catch of Virat Kohli last night in the RCB vs RR match

As mentioned ahead, Virat Kohli played against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL last night. He got out while playing a pull shot off Prasidh Krishna’s bouncer. Kohli could not connect well and ended up handing a catch to Riyan Parag, who was at the backward point position.

Parag had a memorable day against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Besides taking the catch of his favorite player, he also scored a match-winning fifty for his team. Speaking at the post-match presentation after winning the Man of the Match award, RR’s star Parag said:

“I feel satisfied. The Royals kept faith in me over the years and I think this was my way of paying back. I love pressure and love to show case my abilities in the tough situations. During the time-out, Sanga told me 140 would be a good total.”
