Big Show and The Undertaker are two of the most popular Superstars in WWE history. Both have an enormous fan following in the world because of their unique skills. The two giants featured in some of the most memorable WWE matches of all time, but both of them have retired now.

Big Show now works for All Elite Wrestling as Paul Wight. Meanwhile, The Undertaker officially retired from WWE at Survivor Series 2020 and then joined the WWE Hall of Fame last year.

In a recent interview with Generation Iron Fitness Network, Big Show recalled the advice which The Undertaker gave to him during the Attitude Era. Quite surprisingly, the Deadman asked Paul Wight to leave the business.

“I went to him one time in ’99,” Paul Wight said. “‘Taker looked at me, he goes, ‘Yeah, I got some advice. I think you should take two weeks off and quit the business,’ and he walked off.”

The Undertaker and Big Show stepped in the WWE ring multiple times together

While The Undertaker advised Paul Wight to leave the business in 1999, Big Show did not follow it and continued to work. Big Show took it positively and stopped seeking approvals. He did not have a successful career in terms of world championship wins, but he emerged as one of the most popular Superstars of his time.

In fact, the Undertaker wrestled Paul Wight multiple times in the WWE matches. The last time these two legends participated in a common match was during the WWE Royal Rumble in 2017, where Randy Orton emerged victorious.

Talking about their singles match, Big Show beat the Deadman in their previous one-on-one encounter. It took place on WWE SmackDown tapings of April 21, 2009. They even became the tag team champions during the year 1999 and also clashed for the Hardcore title in 2001 and 2002.
