Royal Challengers Bangalore is not known to have a strong Indian core. Yet, when it comes to representations in the recently announced BCCI contract list, RCB tops the list. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three RCB players who have been included in the BCCI 2024 Contract List.
Virat Kohli – Grade A+
Of course, Virat Kohli is arguably the No.1 cricketer in India and he would receive the best contract by the BCCI. Along with Virat, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are also a part of the list. Virat Kohli is likely to make a comeback in IPL 2024.
Mohammed Siraj – Grade A
It has been a stunning year for Mohammed Siraj and deservedly, he is in the Grade A list. He would feature in this Grade along with the likes of R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill. Siraj is currently one of the all-format cricketers for India.
Rajat Patidar – Grade C
Rajat Patidar is one of the RCB players who have been included in the BCCI 2024 Contract List. He may not have had a strong start to his Test career. However, he is a talented cricketer and the management will surely keep him on the radar for a few more months.
Yash Dayal, Akash Deep and Vyshak V – Fast bowling contract
Yash Dayal is also one of the RCB players who have been included in the BCCI 2024 Contract List. BCCI introduced the fast bowling contract for the first time. Out of the five players selected, three of them belong to RCB. The other two are Umran Malik and Vidwath Kaverappa. While Akash Deep recently made his India debut, Yash Dayal was once selected for the Indian Team but could not make his debut. Vyshak, on the other hand, had a terrific domestic season.
