The road to Cricket World Cup 2023 for the Indian Cricket Team is about to get begin. The ICC tournament is slated to take place in India in October and November. 2022 wasn’t the kind of year that Men in Blue would’ve wanted and therefore they would be hoping for normalcy to return in 2023.

Their journey begins with the ODI series against Sri Lanka in January. They will host the Island nation for the three games. The first match will be played in Guwahati on 10th January followed by the second and third games to be played on 12th January and 15th January in Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.

After that, they will host New Zealand for the three-match series as well. The first match will be played on the 18th of January in Hyderabad with the second and third games slated to take place on the 21st and 24th of January in Raipur and Indore.

It’ll be an opportunity for senior Indian batters, who are out of form, to reclaim their authority. While Virat Kohli recently scored a ton against Bangladesh in the third ODI, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan of late have looked out of sorts. The 6 ODIs at home will be a golden opportunity for them to regain their form and return to their original flow.
