An important ODI series between two top nations

2023 is the year of the 50-over World Cup. Hence, the prominence will be high for the ODI format. India and Australia are two strong ODI sides and hence, it will be a test for both sides, especially the hosts.

India does have a few issues in the ODI line-up. One of them includes the middle-order composition and the balance of the team. The pace department has Mohammed Siraj but it needs to be seen who will join him in the build-up to the World Cup, especially because Jasprit Bumrah is out of action. The spin department also has a few spots open. While Yuzvendra Chahal has not been in great form, it needs to be seen if Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar can hit good consistency.
