It is now official that Hardik Pandya will represent Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. It is a massive and shocking move considering the importance that Hardik had at Gujarat Titans. Nevertheless, we are not aware of what happened in the backend. For GT, it would be a challenge to replace Hardik. At least, it is hard for any Indian cricketer to do that. Here, we take a look at three high-profile foreigners Gujarat Titans might target to replace Hardik Pandya.

1) Travis Head

Considering his current form, Travis Head would be a good investment for the franchise. While he offers excellent flexibility with the bat, Head can also provide a few overs of spin.

The franchise does not have a right-arm off-spinner. While they have a solid spin attack, an extra spinner will further help the balance of the side. With the bat, Head could be an option at No.4.

2) Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins is one of the high-profile foreigners Gujarat Titans might target to replace Hardik Pandya. GT released a number of pacers. Hence, they will have to eye one at the auctions.

Pat Cummins is someone who can lead the pace attack along with Mohammed Shami. At No.7, Cummins could also provide a decent hand with the bat. He would also be a good addition to the leadership group, which will now be led by Shubman Gill.

3) Daryl Mitchell

If GT is looking for a like-to-like replacement, Daryl Mitchell could come close to it. At least with the bat in hand, Daryl would be a perfect addition at No.5 or may be even at No.4.

Although he does bowl some medium pace, it is not as good as Hardik Pandya. GT would now rely on of their Indian pacers to step up. If that happens, they can play an extra foreign batter. This way, they can try to replace Hardik.
