Now that Pujara has made way, it will be interesting to see who will fill up the role. The likes of Hanuma Vihari and Shubman Gill are the frontrunners for the position. However, former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar reckons Virat Kohli must bat at No.3. Considering the inexperience of the middle-order, it might be a decent option to request Virat Kohli to take up the No.3 role. That said, he himself is going through a tough patch.
