WWE Money in the Bank saw Damian Priest defend his title against Seth Rollins in a roller-coaster battle. However, the match had ample drama in it before the final conclusion was arrived to. One of the most notable moments of the battle saw Damian Priest failing to kick out of the pin.
Despite the storyline witnessing Drew McIntyre cashing in with CM Punk crashing his party with a late appearance, Seth Rollins was deprived of a title shot and will not get one more until the Archer of Infamy remains a champ as per the stipulation.

In an exclusive interview, Damian Priest said that him not kicking out was definitely not a botch up. Speaking with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, Damian Priest explained what went down during that talked about moment.
“The idea that I forgot to kick out, that not a thing. That’s not a thing. We don’t forget to kick out. Twenty years in, I’m pretty sure there is some kind of muscle memory there. So me forgetting was not the case. There was nothing outside that was supposed to happen. It was a matter of there was a situation, but I’m OK. Everybody’s fine, the story continues”, Priest said on the podcast.

Priest even admitted that he was kicking himself about the move but at the end of the day, WWE Universe is so invested all the storyline and the action that is going through, it changes the dynamics. According to Priest, no one remembers what went down but appreciates the sheer magnificence of the storyline.
Priest will be going head on against Gunther in the WWE SummerSlam in a bid to defend his World Heavyweight Championship. Fans believe that this may be a massive push for Gunther as well after the ring-general pulled off a sensational feat with the Intercontinental title.
