SHF vs MCI Fantasy Preview:
This year’s Premier League table has volte-faced itself on the head catapulting the bottom teams from last year’s campaign to the face of the pack while the stalwarts of the preceding season have found themselves languishing in the bottom.
After a resonating return to the Premier League under the chaperonage of Chris Wilder in the precursor edition of the tournament, the Blades has been in abysmal touch this season and with the brand of football that has been up for grabs at Bramall Lane, Wilder and company are most likely staring at a long and hard night ahead in Premier League.
Sheffield started their 2020 Premier League campaign with defeats to Aston Villa, Leeds United and Arsenal before finally wringing out a point against Fulham. Unfortunately, they were unable to build on to that new-found intent and shortly came a cropper at the hands of defending champions, Liverpool. To add to their woes, The Blades will be up against Manchester City tomorrow which will be followed by a trip to Stamford Bridge to square off with Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola hasn’t really smiled either with City scraping points more fortunately rather than being on a dominant scale. They managed to eke out hard-fought victories against Wolves and Arsenal but barely latched on to a solitary point against an inspirational Leeds United.
Their landslide started with Leicester City handing them over with a five-star thrashing that featured Jamie Vardy as the frontman of the Premier League classic. Their mid-week glory against a pumped-up Marseille that witnessed Ferran Torres, Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling unleashing a three-star battery to sink the French ship will provide them with the much-needed impetus when they travel to Bramall Lane to give their campaign a shake-up. These are the fantasy picks for tomorrow’s game.

SHF vs MCI: Probable Teams:
Sheffield United:
Ramsdale; Basham, Egan, Stevens; Baldock, Norwood, Ampadu, Berge, Osborn; Brewster, McBurnie
Manchester City:
Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne; Foden, Sterling, Mahrez
Picks to consider:
Riyad Mahrez will be an imperative pick for tomorrow’s game considering the fact that he has some blistering speed up his sleeves. If there is something that Sheffield has failed to improve in this year is their defence on the planks. It has consistently leaked and dripped of goals. Mahrez will be eager to exploit that vulnerability to help City get back to their formidable stance in the Premier League.
Ollie McBurnie can be a potential threat to Manchester City keeping in mind that he can be a very adept shooter and with Ederson’s recent blooters against those long-range thunderbolts, Guardiola may very well have to look for some other alternatives to contain this Scot.
Captaincy Choices:
1. Kevin De Bruyne
2. Raheem Sterling
Match Prediction – Who will win today?
Despite the season spattering all over the place with the top teams taking a back-burner, it is an absolute no-brainer to prognosticate the foregone conclusion of this game that City will clearly hold sway over a struggling Sheffield. It may even turn out to be an absolute goal-fest if De Bruyne starts finding his foot again.
