“Sending all the yellove from Chepauk” – Twitter erupts as Kedar Jadhav has replaced David Willey in RCB for IPL 2023

Royal Challengers Bangalore ran through ups and downs in the ongoing edition of the IPL. Despite the fact that they have piled up enough runs on the board in some games, they were unable to defend the target in the first place.

At times, they have found it literally tough to chase down the targets, perhaps, they have been too much dependent on the KGF (Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis), which didn’t help them one bit in some run-chases.

Currently, they are sitting on the sixth position in the IPL 2023 points table. They have played eight games so far wherein they won four games and lost the remaining four games of the league stage.

Kedar Jadhav has replaced David Willey in RCB for IPL 2023

Not long ago, David Willey was ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing season of the IPL owing to injury. Meanwhile, the RCB team management confirmed that Kedar Jadhav has replaced David Willey in RCB for IPL 2023.

It is cognizance of the fact that RCB have been dealing with middle-order concerns which has often put them on the back foot. However, Kedar Jadhav’s presence might as well beef up the middle order of RCB.

RCB have done the right thing to address the middle-order concerns amid the ongoing edition of the IPL before it’s too late. Kedar Jadhav has a plethora of experience and has the potential to play the role of a finisher, something which Dinesh Karthik failed to live up to his role this season.

Kedar Jadhav could prove to be a valuable addition to RCB going forward in the league stage fixtures. Willey played four matches for RCB this season wherein he took three wickets. Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav who has previously played for RCB in 17 matches, was purchased for INR 1 crore.
