In the last season, they were brilliant. Not just for CSK, even in the entire league, they took the top two places in the list of highest run-getters. While Rutu scored 635 runs in 16 games, Faf made 633 runs in the same number of games. They complemented each other very well at the top. While the Maharashtra opener was brutal against spin, Faf was excellent against pace. The duo was the main reason why CSK won the title. Now that the combination has been separated, an old Insta interaction of the duo has now gone viral.
