Ronda Rousey Reportedly Planning To Make UFC Return For 1 Last Fight

Ronda Rousey is reportedly planning to make a return to UFC in the near future. There had been rumors of The Baddest Woman on the Planet quitting WWE to join UFC, and now a source close to Rousey has confirmed the same.

Rousey was involved in a mini feud with Shayna Baszler over the last few weeks. The rivalry came to an end in the MMA Rules match at SummerSlam in Detroit, where Baszler beat Rousey and ended her WWE career.

In a chat with The Daily Mail, a source close to Ronda Rousey informed that she is looking to wrap up her commitments with WWE soon and head back to UFC for one last fight. The likely stage for her last battle is UFC 300.

“She [Ronda] just had a match at SummerSlam and is looking to wind down her time and commitments with the WWE and she is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year,” said one of Rousey’s confidants.

Will Ronda Rousey return to UFC?

Yes, it is likely that Rousey will make her next appearance for UFC. The UFC 300 show could happen in mid-2024. UFC has been planning pay-per-views on a monthly basis, and by that calculation, there is a significant chance that the 300th edition of the show will be happening somewhere in the middle of the year 2024.

Like UFC 100 and UFC 200, the UFC 300 show should also be a grand affair. Ronda Rousey will take some time off from in-ring competition and then return to compete at UFC 300. It will be interesting to see who her opponent at the grand stage is. There are a lot of women in the company who can challenge her. All eyes will be on UFC 300 now.
