Roman Reigns has become the most talked-about WWE Superstar in the last few weeks. Ever since the Big Dog made his return to the company at WWE SummerSlam, the fans have been in awe of his new personality.
Reigns turned heel finally and associated himself with Paul Heyman on SmackDown. Within just one week, Reigns regained his Universal Championship by beating Braun Strowman and The Fiend Bray Wyatt in a triple threat match.
He later defended the title against Jey Uso at Clash of Champions, and now the two WWE Superstars will go head-to-head at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event. Paul Davis of Wrestlingnews.co has reported that Reigns will lead a new faction on the Blue brand now, which will comprise Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso.
Here’s what Paul Davis said:
“For what it’s worth, there has been talk in creative about Reigns leading a stable with Jey and Jimmy (when he’s healthy) and others added in the future. We were told that the match at Hell in a Cell would be the next big chapter in the story being told and there are many other players that will be involved in the storyline with Reigns.”
The fans would know that Jimmy Uso is still not cleared to perform in WWE. Jey Uso had a brilliant rivalry with Reigns recently and he will likely accept the Big Dog as the Tribal Chief at Hell in a Cell.
There were also rumors that this storyline was sowing the seeds for a future WrestleMania showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns. In case The Usos align themselves with Reigns, it is unlikely that The Brahma Bull would return. The only sensible way to bring him back to WWE is to have Reigns torment his brothers and then The Rock would confront him for his behavior as The Tribal Chief.
