It has been a great turnaround for the Delhi keeper
When he started out in his career, many doubted Rishabh Pant’s skills as a wicket-keeper. It was further demoralizing for him when he went on to commit a few blunders. One section of the viewers was quick to compare him with the legends. Many even called out for his exclusion from the squad.
However, it has been a remarkable turnaround for Pant since then. He has worked on his skills and has been extremely consistent recently. Although, it needs to be mentioned that the quality of Indian bowling has also allowed him to claim the record. The pace bowlers have done well in drawing edges regularly. Hence, Pant has got many opportunities to add dismissals to his name.
Pant is one of the undroppable names in India’s Test XI right now. He adds X-Factor in the batting department apart from being consistent behind the stumps. Hence, his turnaround has been incredible so far.
