MS Dhoni turned back the clock in the IPL 2023 game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Chepauk stadium. The batter almost pulled the chase for the side from the jaws of defeat and gave immense entertainment to his fans.

Chasing the target of 173 runs, CSK were tottering at 113/6. It was at that moment when MS Dhoni arrived at the crease and pulled off the chase for his side. He first took a few balls to settle but after that, he unleashed himself and smashed Adam Zampa for six and four in the over.

He didn’t look back after that as then he played staggeringly and with 21 runs needed off the last over, he took the cricket world by storm. Dhoni smashed two sixes in the over and took the game to the last ball with his team needing 5 runs. He however then was undone by the brilliance of Sandeep Sharma, who nailed his yorker and won the game for his team.

However, after the game, it was revealed by head coach Stephen Fleming that the keeper batter is nursing a knee injury and was in pain during the game. After that official Twitter account of CSK posted a video of him in which he can be seen limping.
