There is a new crack in the kinship between the second city saint, CM Punk and AEW where his latest no-show has started giving out the writing on the wall. There is a lot going on between the giants of the AEW roster as CM Punk confronted the AEW champion, Jon Moxley and there was some serious heat between the duo as they are still to engage physically.
Moxley dished out a terrific promo that had scathing vitriol being poured at Punk in the opening segment of AEW Dynamite, there was another name on the leader of the straight edge society and that was of Hangman, Adam Page. Going by the inside reports that seem pretty steamy at the moment, Punk went off-script and started calling out Page when he clearly knew that the latter won’t be able to make it to the ring.

Here is what CM Punk had to say about AEW
In his latest update on Fightful Select a couple of nights back, he verbally expressed his displeasure about a certain run of things in AEW and if things continue going this way, he may opt to quit the company because he has never been inclined in taking someone else’s blessed opinions, the most glaring example being that of his spat with WWE and Vince McMahon.
Even though there are no concrete reports of him hating the AEW, yet the ones close to him had to say that the reason for his no-show from AEW Dynamite this week was because of his growing displeasure with the business. Even though Tony Khan has reasons to believe that Punk is not going to quit over these ongoing issues, yet the little birdies inside flew with information of threats being exchanged.

There is some serious heat between Punk and Page as he was willing to offer the latter a shot at the title if he was willing to come out, knowing clearly that the latter won’t. The only reason for the same being Page’s inability to come out and barge past Tony Khan to confront Punk because that would have done him no good.
