Royal Challengers Bangalore have qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2021 after the win over Punjab Kings on Sunday. With this, RCB has become the third team after Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals to reach the Top 4 of this season. RCB qualifies for playoffs of IPL 2021
RCB had struggled to make it to the playoffs after the 2016 edition, in which they had reached the finals. However, after the management change in 2020, the team has started doing well. They did well in IPL 2020 to reach the playoffs, but due to the disappointing form in the back end, they missed out on a chance to lift the trophy.
In 2021, though, the team has been consistent. After two consecutive losses in the UAE leg, RCB has now won three games in a row to make it to the playoffs. Against Punjab Kings, RCB held their nerve to defend a total of 164. While Glenn Maxwell did well in the batting unit, Yuzvendra Chahal continued the good form with a three-wicket haul.

Content creator Danish Sait is popularly known as RCB’s Mr Nags. He is the face of the team’s social media accounts and has done a good job of entertaining the fans so far. Danish is also a hardcore RCB fan, and after the team reached the playoffs this season, he had a hilarious response.

Almost every season, RCB finds itself in a situation where the team has to depend on the results of other games to find a path to the playoffs. Hence, the “calculators” had to be used a lot to find the possible combinations in which the team could reach the final four. This season, though, RCB has reached the playoffs without finding itself in such a scenario. Hence, Danish hilariously took reference to it soon after his team won the game against Punjab. Meanwhile, after nailing a playoff spot, RCB would be keen to get a spot in the Top 2.
