Mumbai Indians locked horns with Gujarat Titans in the 57th match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The match was held at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Gujarat Titans’ captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to bowl first. Mumbai Indians posted a staggering total of 218/5 in their quota of 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with an unbeaten 103 off 49 balls.

He constructed his innings with the help of 11 fours and 6 sixes to his name at a strike rate of 210.20. On the other hand, Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Gujarat Titans.

He took four wickets to his name, giving away 30 runs at an economy of 7.50. In reply, Gujarat Titans’ top-order ran short of tricks as they were reduced to 26/3 in 3.5 overs. Since then, they didn’t recover one bit.

Rashid Khan put up a surreal all-round performance

Gujarat Titans’ all-rounder Rashid Khan once again proved why he is the GOAT of T20 cricket. He chipped in with a valuable all-round performance for Gujarat Titans.

Unfortunately, he ended up on the losing side. He registered 4/30 with the bat in his quota of four overs and then he brought up his career-best score of 79 off 32 balls including 3 fours and 10 sixes.

With the help of Rashid Khan’s knock, Gujarat Titans were able to score 191 for the loss of eight wickets in their quota of 20 overs. In the end, Mumbai Indians won the game by 27 runs.
