Ranking Top four dangerous teams in IPL 2021 based on power hitters

The 14th season of the IPL is up and running as we are witnessing some great games from both venues. In Chennai, where the pitch is slow and the ball is not coming on to the bat you need smart players who can rotate the strike and get that odd boundary. But on the other hand, in Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium in this IPL, you need power hitters.

In the Mumbai leg, we are seeing that 180-190 is not good enough and you need to get 210-220 if you want to win batting first. If any IPL team wants to score that many runs then need power hitters in their team. Power hitters are a must while playing in the IPL especially on those flat wickets where the ball comes onto the bat nicely. So let us have a look at the four dangerous teams in the IPL based on power hitters.

4. Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings who have lost three out of their four games was the first team in this IPL to score 200. They might have won many games but they have an exciting batting line-up. People often talk about the top three in a batting line-up but eventually, it is the power of the Nos. 4,5 and 6 who will take you over the line and KKR has some real muscle in the engine room. Eoin Morgan who bats at No.4 hasn’t really got going but he can be a real danger.

KKR has the likes of Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell at No.5 and No.6. Andre Russell needs no introduction as he can demolish any opposition and DK has been doing well as a finisher in the last couple of seasons. Add to this the six-hitting skills of Pat Cummins.
