PUN vs PAT: Puneri Paltan will take on Patna Pirates in the 17th match of the Pro Kabaddi League PKL 8 on Tuesday, 28th December at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Centre, Bengaluru.
Puneri Paltan have had a mediocre beginning to their PKL 2021-22 season as they find themselves sitting at the ninth spot in the points table. The Paltan have grabbed one victory and a loss after two games and are eager to win their second game of the season to climb up the charts. They suffered a horrible 41-30 defeat in their opening game against Dabang Delhi and followed it with a nail-biting 34-33 win over Telugu Titans.
On the other hand, Patna Pirates are standing in the middle of the PKL 8 points table, i.e at the sixth spot. They too have won and lost a game each so far in the tournament. The Pirates started off their campaign with a hard-fought 42-39 victory over the Haryana Steelers but couldn’t keep the momentum going forward as they ended up on the losing side in a 35-36 thriller against UP Yoddha.
