This is a venue that has not hosted a lot of competitive T20 games till now. Also, this venue will be a neutral ground for all the teams. Hence, the Rawalpindi leg of PSL 2023 can be expected to be an entertaining one.
The bowlers are likely to get assistance from this surface, unlike the other grounds in the ongoing PSL. Also, since the wickets are fresh, it would be a batter option if the captains chose to bat after winning the toss.

While the temperatures in the day could hit as high as 30 degrees Celsius, they could fall down to close to 10 degrees Celsius during the night. These conditions would be comfortable for the players and the fans in the stadium.
There are some clouds expected for a few days in the next few weeks in Rawalpindi. However, rainfall is unlikely although it won’t be a surprise if there is some rain.
