India team’s  main focus was on the T20Is this year, which saw Kohli along with other senior players missing most of the ODIs. However, in the recently concluded series against Bangladesh, he scored his ton in a 50-over format after almost three years.

Kohli played 11 innings in 2022 in which he scored 302 runs at a poor average of 27.45 to go with 1 century and 2 half-centuries. Notably, the 34-year-old has been a beast in the ODI format and has the most centuries (44) to his name. Having an average of 57.47, he has 12471 runs in the format.
