The El Clasico Overtakes All The Other Games To Become Most Viewed Match In IPL 2022

The first El Clasico match of IPL 2022 happened last night at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, where the Chennai Super Kings defeated the Mumbai Indians by three wickets. MS Dhoni dished out a classic finish for his team as the Chennai-based franchise registered their second win of the tournament.

Speaking about the match between MI and CSK, this game broke all records for the viewership in IPL 2022 matches. It was not a surprise because of the big names that were involved in the match and the way the contest ended with a thrilling last over, where Dhoni turned back the clock.

Jaydev Unadkat had to defend 17 runs in the final over of the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings match. He conceded only one run and picked up one wicket on the first two balls of the last over. Dhoni came on strike when CSK needed 16 runs off the last four balls, and that was the moment where the viewership of the game peaked on Disney+ Hotstar.
