WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Spoilers: Here Is The Reason Why Sami Zayn Will Be Absent From The Show

WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is just three days away. The main event of the big premium live event is an Undisputed Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. Fans expect Honorary Uce Sami Zayn to be in Roman’s corner at Crown Jewel.

In case you did not know, Zayn has become an integral part of The Bloodline in recent weeks. Roman Reigns, the Head of the Table, is a fan of his work, and on the recent episode of SmackDown, Roman said that he is even considering renaming Sami Zayn to Sami Uso.

The statement from The Tribal Chief shows how much significance Sami has in The Bloodline despite not being a blood relative of any of the members. However, just like WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, it seems like Sami Zayn will not be in Roman Reigns’ corner at Crown Jewel 2022.

Why has Sami Zayn never been a part of Crown Jewel or WWE Saudi Arabia shows?

WWE travels to Saudi Arabia twice in a year for the special premium live events. The deal started back in 2018 when Vince McMahon was the Chairman of the company. WWE Greatest Royal Rumble was the first show in Saudi Arabia.

Since then, there have been premium live events like Super Showdown, Elimination Chamber and Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. However, Sami Zayn has not been a part of any of them.

According to reports, WWE made the decision to respect the local culture in Saudi Arabia. Sami Zayn is a Canadian of Syrian descent, and Saudi Arabia have had strained relations with Syria.

“WWE is committed to embracing individuals from all backgrounds while respecting local customs and cultural differences around the world,” a statement from WWE read.

Thus, it is highly unlikely that Zayn will be a part of the show in Saudi Arabia this year as well.
