The 24th match of the IPL 2023 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings provided a truckload of entertainment, thrill and spice. All these moments kept the fans on the edge of their seats.

The Chinnaswamy wicket was an absolute paradise for the batters as they totally enjoyed scoring runs at a rate of knots. The bowlers of both teams found it literally tough to stop the batters as they were tonked for sixes and fours.

Batting first, Chennai Super Kings posted a humongous total of 226/6 in their quota of 20 overs. Devon Conway top-scored with 83 off 45 balls with the help of six fours and six hits over the fence.

CSK pull off a thrilling win over RCB

In response, RCB lost two quick wickets for 15 runs but Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis kept going and tried to tilt the game towards the hosts’ favour. The duo added a quickfire 126-run partnership before Maheesh Theekshana provided a much-needed breakthrough to dismiss Glenn Maxwell.

The Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell scored 76 off 36 balls where he scored 3 fours and eight sixes to his name. RCB captain, Faf du Plessis chipped in with 62 off 33 balls where he struck five four and four sixes to his name.

However, CSK managed to pull things back into the game as they went on to win the game by eight runs. During the passage of the play, Ajinkya Rahane was terrific on the field as he saved some crucial runs with his fielding presence, which played a big part in CSK’s win.
