The Titans had a prolific run in their debut season. Finishing with 10 wins in their 14 games, they topped the points table having acquired 20 points. They have quite a few match-winners in their ranks. The responsibility of captaincy seems toh have brought out the best out of Hardik Pandya. Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill at the top of the order have ensured a good start to the Titans in almost every game. Rashid Khan in the middle overs and Mohammed Shami with the new ball have been outstanding. Rahul Tewatia, David Miller and Rashid Khan have played some crucial knocks ensuring their team got over the line from the most unlikely of situations.

The Royals have played some quality cricket right throughout the season. Sanju Samson has marshalled his troops well and his team has always been up to the task. Ravichandran Ashwin has been brilliant with the bat as well as the ball. Yuzvendra Chahal has been magnificent throughout the season and leads the purple cap charts. Jos Buttler started off the season in dramatic fashion but his form seems to have fizzled out. Devdutt Padikal and Yashasvi Jaiswal have played some mature knocks and bailed their team out of some tricky situations.
