No Australian named as Dale Steyn picks his top four pacers for the ICC World Cup 2023

As the fever for the ICC World Cup 2023 is on, former South African cricketer Dale Steyn has picked the five fast bowlers, which he feels will set the stage on fire in the upcoming tournament. Surprisingly, no Australian bowler was picked by him.

Australia arguably has one of the best bowling lineups in the ICC World Cup 2023. The likes of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa and others have rattled many quality batting lineups and it’s fair to say that they would be threatening in the tournament.

Dale Steyn picked Trent Boult from New Zealand, Mohammed Siraj from India, Shaheen Afridi from Pakistan, Kagiso Rabada from South Africa and Mark Wood from England. All these pacers have been sensational since the last few months.

The above-mentioned pacers have displayed stupendous performances for their respective teams and it’ll not be a surprise if any one of them would be the leading-wicket taker in the World Cup.

Trent Boult recently made a comeback into the New Zealand squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. He opted out of the ODIs for a while but with the tournament around, he made a return and since then has been extremely staggering with the new ball.
