“You just can’t set a field”, Twitter reacts to Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant knock in India vs South Africa 2nd T20I

Suryakumar Yadav has been the best Indian batter in recent months. Especially his recent form has been staggering and against South Africa in Guwahati, the Mumbai batter was yet again under the limelight. He scored 61 runs in 22 deliveries and helped India post a massive total. Here, we take a look at how Twitter reacted to Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant knock in India vs South Africa 2nd T20I.

India posts a massive total in the first innings

After being put to bat first, India actually started cautiously. However, once KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma got going, it was hard to stop them. KL Rahul was excellent as he scored 57 runs in just 28 deliveries. His knock included five boundaries and four sixes. After Rohit Sharma fell, Virat Kohli came to the crease. Virat did take some time to adjust to the conditions but even he made 49 runs in only 28 balls.

However, it was SKY’s unbelievable knock which took away the attention. In his usual trademark manner, SKY took on most of the bowlers and hardly took time to settle himself. In all, he took five boundaries and five sixes to make 61 runs. Eventually, it was an unfortunate run-out that ended his stay at the crease. In the end, Dinesh Karthik applied the finishing touches by making 17 runs in 7 balls. India posted a scored of 237 and it will be hard for the Proteas to chase the target.
