“I always have a few memories with you guys that stand. With AB, it was the two games against Gujarat in 2016. That partnership I had will last with me for life. I got to see a close-up of how it is done and that left me astonished. In the same year when we were struggling, AB and Iqbal took us home.”

AB de Villiers played his last match under the captaincy of Virat Kohli

Unless AB de Villiers decides to come out of retirement, his last match will be the Eliminator game between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Kolkata Knight Riders from the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League.

It was AB de Villiers’ last game in RCB colors and also the last match of Virat Kohli as the captain of the Bangalore-based franchise in the IPL.
