Hence, the onus was on the lower middle-order to do the job for the franchise. That said, with Jasprit Bumrah bowling the penultimate over, it was always going to be difficult for the batting team.
In the final over, CSK needed 17 runs and MS Dhoni was at the non-striker’s end. The first ball led to a wicket and Dwayne Bravo came to the crease. He got one run in the next ball leaving MSD with the task of 16 runs to get in 4 deliveries. Jaydev Unadkat was pretty confident but MSD delivered a top show to give his team the much-needed victory. He scored a six, a four, ran a two and completed the game with the boundary of the last delivery. This way, he won the game for his team from a difficult position.
