The Day 3 of the ongoing second Test between India and Australia has been torrid for the Pat Cummins-led side. Indian bowlers R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have wreaked havoc across the opposition’s batting lineup.

R Ashwin started the destruction on the third day of the game as he removed Travis Head for 43 runs in the first over. The southpaw was looking dangerous as he too bowlers to cleaners.

The off-spinner continued his carnage as he got the second time in the game removed Steve Smith. Ashwin trapped him in Lbw for 9 runs. His spin twin Ravindra Jadeja too joined him as he then clobbered the stumps of Marnus Labuschagne for 35 runs.

Ashwin didn’t stop there as he then sent Matt Renshaw packing for 2 runs. After that it was all Jadeja as he made a mockery of Australia’s batting lineup and took all the remaining wickets to help his side bundle out the visitors for just 113 runs, setting India a target of 115 runs.

Jadeja returned with his career-best figures of 7/42 as India folded out Australia in a short span of time. The Pat Cummins-led side lost 9 wickets for just 53 runs on ten Day 3. On the other hand Ashwin returned with the figures of 3/59 as India set themselves a target of 115 runs.
