South Africa did well in the 2021 T20 World Cup but missed the semi-final spot by a whisker. Nevertheless, the squad can go again in 2022. They have a strong squad and will be keen to erase the unwanted record of not winning big trophies. Starting on October 16th, the 2022 T20 World Cup will happen in Australia. Here, we take a look at the South Africa Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

South Africa will have its agenda clear for the event. They will have to beat one of India or Pakistan and then defeat the other teams to book a spot in the semi-final. Of course, the scenario could change, but the main objective will be tackling India and Pakistan. The team has the resources to do that. If that is done, they can use the momentum in the knockout stage.
On that note, here is South Africa‘s schedule for the 2022 T20 WC:
- South Africa vs B1 – October 24th (Hobart)
- South Africa vs Bangladesh – October 27th (Sydney)
- South Africa vs India- October 30th (Perth)
- South Africa vs Pakistan – November 3rd (Sydney)
- South Africa vs A2 – November 6th (Adelaide)

South Africa will, unfortunately, miss the services of Rassie van der Dussen, who is injured at the moment. He would have been the fulcrum in the middle order for his side. In his absence, the likes of Aiden Markram and David Miller will need to step up. Rilee Rossouw will be expected to set the tournament on fire as he has been in good form.
In the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will lead the pace attack. Tabraiz Shamsi will be an important player as the lead spinner along with Keshav Maharaj. Bowling all-rounders like Wayne Parnell and Dwaine Pretorius will also have a vital role. Therefore, the Proteas can actually defeat the biggies to go all the way.
