Sasha Banks Receives A Challenge For One-On-One Match From A WWE Legend

Mickie James has called out Sasha Banks on Twitter very recently with two simple words: “Fight me!!!!” Mickie had praised Sasha and Naomi’s walking the ramp at the New York Fashion Week and expressed her desire to be with them by retweeting Naomi’s photo of them walking together in words reminiscing of Batista.

To which Sasha had replied:

All this back and forth may just be good spirited fun because later she also retweeted a fan’s gif while appreciating Banks

When is the next match of WWE Superstar Sasha Banks?

Even if the two were to have a friendly match, it will have to be outside of the jurisdiction of their current employers as they are both on separate promotions. James being in Impact wrestling and Banks being in WWE (although currently suspended with Naomi).

Mickie James was released by WWE last year during their budget cut releases and then got hired by NWA before returning to Impact Wrestling. On the September 1 episode of Impact, one day after her 43rd birthday, she thanked the fans for reminding her who she really was and how ever since returning, she’s had the best run of her career which included winning the Knockouts title again.

She then announced that she will be retiring from wrestling soon but only on her own terms. In November she will be completing 24 years in the business and would embark on her final rodeo with the company on a quest to win the Knockouts championship. She will be starting at the bottom again issuing open challenges every week until she gets to the champion, Tasha, who beat her by betrayal.

But her catch is that even if she loses one match during this quest, she will retire right then and there. Mickie is a former 5-time WWE Women’s champion, 1 time Divas champion and a 4-time TNA/Impact Knockouts World champion. It will be interesting to witness the industry veteran in her last do or die journey.
