“He Was A Bit Exhausted”- Saqlain Mushtaq Defends Hasan Ali And Calls Him A Match Winner For Paksitan

PAK vs WI Live Update: After the pacer faced criticism from spectators, the head coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Saqlain Mushtaq, rushed to Hasan Ali’s defense and defended him by referring to him as a “match-winning performer.” Mushtaq said that the squad will evaluate its depth by playing players off the bench in preparation for the home series against West Indies. Beginning on June 8, Pakistan will compete against the Caribbeans in a One-Day International (ODI) series that consists of three matches.

Mushtaq said that Ali was tired, but that he is in good shape moving forward in the series. Ali made his debut on the international stage in 2016. Since then, he has participated in 126 games for Pakistan. The head coach continued by saying that everyone on the squad is on the same page and that players would be given a break if they asked for it. The former Pakistan spinner also said that the Men in Green will put in their best effort to prepare themselves to whitewash the visiting squad and enhance their place in the ICC World Cup Super League points table.

PAK vs WI Live Update: We have high hopes of winning 3-0 against West Indies: Saqlain Mushtaq

According to Mushtaq, the players are putting in a lot of effort, and the coaching staff is happy with how things are progressing in training. He feels that the support staff is planning to follow the team’s strengths despite the scorching weather they are now experiencing. The most recent One-Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and Australia was won at home by Pakistan 2-1. In the World Cup Super League, they have the same number of wins as losses (six) to their credit. The West Indies have a record of eight wins and 10 defeats, which places them in fourth place in the standings.

“Hasan is a game-winning player. He has shown through his performances that he deserves the chance. He was a bit exhausted but today he is fresh. There is no division among the players, and we will accommodate those who ask for a break if necessary. The West Indies squad will compete at their highest level of preparedness. Although we have not yet completed all of the work on them, we are optimistic that we will be able to win 3-0,” according to a remark from Mushtaq that was published by Cricket Pakistan.

“The guys are putting in a lot of effort, and everything is going according to plan with the training. There is no denying that it is quite hot, but the coaching team is formulating the game plan according to the abilities of our players,” Mushtaq said further.
