Fans on Twitter expressed their disappointment as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final is likely to be close to the World Test Championship (WTC) final. They feel that governing body is making the same mistake again and if reach the final of the Tests, then they won’t have much time to prepare.

The IPL final is likely to happen on May 28th or June 4th, which is likely to be close to the WTC final. 

The upcoming year will see Indian Cricket Team have a jam-packed cricketing schedule. They will be part of several bilateral series along with the Asia Cup and the Indian Premier League. However, if they manage to win in Tests as well they could see themselves in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC).

While the iteanery for the bilateral series is out, it is learned as the reports in Cricbuzz that the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is likely to begin from 31st March or 1st April. The final of the tournament is scheduled to take place on May 28th or June 4th.

On the other hand, the final of the World Test Championship is likely to take place from June 7 to 11 at the Oval. If the Indian team made it to the final of the championship then it’ll be a cause of concern as they will get only a few days to prepare for it.

India is currently placed fourth on the points table of WTC 2023. However, they have 6 matches left and if they manage to win all of them, there’s a high possibility as they will reach the final.
