Gujarat Titans have a lot of thinking to do for IPL 2024. Hardik Pandya is not with the squad anymore while Mohammed Shami will not take part in IPL 2024. Robin Minz is also likely to miss out. Hence, they must be careful with their tactics. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players Gujarat Titans could use as an Impact Player for IPL 2024.
1) Abhinav Manohar
With the arrival of Shahrukh Khan and the rise of B Sai Sudharsan, Abhinav Manohar might now not find a place in the starting XI of Gujarat Titans. However, considering his skills, GT could use him as an Impact Player in the upcoming campaign.
He is a good player of spin while someone like Shahrukh could struggle against them. Hence, GT can accordingly use the Karnataka player depending on the situation of the game.
2) Kartik Tyagi
Kartik Tyagi is one of the players Gujarat Titans could use as an Impact Player for IPL 2024. It was a steal that GT could acquire the talented youngster at under INR 1 Cr.
With Shami ruled out, he will have a bigger responsibility. Kartik could be used in the middle overs to hit the deck hard and might also be Mohit Sharma’s partner at the death. He could be an Impact Player as Umesh Yadav could start off in the first XI.
3) Sushant Mishra
Sushant Mishra is one of the expensive signings by GT in IPL 2024 Auctions. With Mohammed Shami not playing, it will be interesting to see the new-ball pair for GT. Umesh Yadav is sure to be one of the pacers who will take the new ball.
While GT might be tempted to go with Josh Little or Spencer Johnson, this would not allow them to play Noor Ahmed. Hence, Sushant Mishra could get a chance as he is also a left-arm pacer and can do a good job with the new ball.
