Kevin Owens Comes Up With A Cryptic Tweet After Dominik Turns On His Father Rey Mysterio At WWE Clash at the Castle 2022

Dominik stunned the entire WWE Universe when he turned on his father Rey Mysterio and WWE Hall of Famer Edge at the Clash at the Castle premium live event in Wales. Edge and Mysterio teamed up to take on the duo of Finn Balor and Damian Priest from the Judgment Day.

Heading into this match, Dominik Mysterio was also an important part of the storyline as Rhea Ripley of the Judgment Day repeatedly attacked him. The Judgment Day even gave him an offer to their group, but Dominik was loyal to his father until last night.

Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who is watching the premium live event live, posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter after looking at the betrayal from Dominik. Without taking names, Kevin wrote:

When will Dominik vs Rey Mysterio match happen in WWE?

Ever since Dominik made his debut on the main roster, speculation was rife that he would turn on his father one day and then have a rivalry against him. Triple H has finally booked this much-awaited storyline. However, it remains to be seen whether the match happens at the next premium live event, WWE Extreme Rules or at WWE Crown Jewel after that.

Another interesting way WWE could book this rivalry is by having Dominik joining the Judgment Day. Rey Mysterio and Edge could then try to recruit a female star and a male Superstar to their group to ensure that they have equal strength while taking on the Judgment Day.

A fan theory is doing rounds on social media claiming that Edge coming out at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 wearing a luchador mask might have pulled the trigger for a heel turn. It would have pushed Dominik’s anger beyond limits.
