With just a few days remaining before the start of the first game, Australia has suffered a blow as pacer Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the first two Tests as per the reports in Cricbuzz.

Hazlewood suffered an Achilles injury on his left leg during the Sydney Test last month against South Africa. While it is certain that he will miss the first game, he’s also doubtful for the second game.

With Starc also unavailable, Hazlewood’s injury could pave way for Scott Boland to make his maiden Test appearance in India. It remains to be seen who will be one to play instead of the right-arm pacer.
