“He Also Does The Same”- Wanindu Hasaranga Reveals Details Of His Relationship With Yuzvendra Chahal

Wanindu Hasaranga received a little negative reaction from the Royal Challengers Bangalore fans when the franchise decided to spend 10.75 crores to sign him at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. One of the main reasons behind that was the Royal Challengers Bangalore released their proven match-winner Yuzvendra Chahal. Interestingly, they did not try to re-sign him at the mega auction.

However, Hasaranga has proven his doubters wrong with his excellent performances in the RCB colours this season. He is the leading wicket-taker of the team and is one of the contenders to win the Purple Cap award this year.

Many fans would remember that Hasaranga made his IPL debut last year for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He went unsold at the mini-auction, but the Bangalore-based franchise roped him in as a replacement for the second half of the season. Hasaranga played with Yuzvendra Chahal in that season, but the Sri Lankan cricket team all-rounder could not make much of an impact.
