Asked to bat first, Mumbai lost Prithvi Shaw early for just 19 runs in 21 balls. It was then the game changed in their favour as Suryakumar Yadav came to bat at No.3 and batted aggressively like he has been doing in the white ball for India.
The right-hander staggeringly crafted his innings as he smashed boundaries in gaps and kept scoring runs at a faster rate and brought up his fifty to give his team a fiery start despite losing an early wicket.
Suryakumar scored 90 runs in just 80 balls against Hyderabad as he was trapped in lbw by Mehrotra Shashank. His innings gave his side a much important momentum as they raced from 23/1 to 176 at the fall of his wicket. He smashed 15 fours and 1 six during his innings.
