“Virat Kohli has scored runs everywhere” – Gautam Gambhir reveals Virat Kohli’s biggest speciality

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli was long been criticized for his inability to score a triple-digit figure in international cricket and his century drought continued for more than three years.

However, he rose from the ashes in the Asia Cup 2022 tournament where he scored his maiden T20I century. Since then, he started to make the right noises with his bat, scoring crucial runs for the team.

After finishing the Asia Cup 2022 as the leading run-scorer for India, he finished the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 as the leading run-scorer with 296 runs including four half-centuries.

Besides that, he also went on to end his ODI century drought after 40 months by scoring a century against Bangladesh in the third and final ODI in Chittagong this year, which was his 72nd international century.

Moreover, he also brought up his 73rd and 74th international century in the first and third ODI against the Sri Lankan cricket team recently. Virat Kohli is currently part of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia.

Gambhir stated that Virat Kohli has scored runs everywhere, which has been his biggest speciality. Meanwhile, Kohli is yet to end his Test century drought and it will be quite interesting to see how he will go about his work in the third Test match against the Aussies.

Kohli failed to bring the best out of himself in the first two Tests against the Aussies. His last Test century was against the Bangladesh cricket team back in 2019 during a day-night pink-ball affair.

Since then, he really struggled to get a triple-digit score in Test cricket. He will be looking forward to weaving the magic with the bat in the third Test on March 1 in Indore.
