A great challenge for Team India

India’s first match in the 2021 T20 World Cup against Pakistan became the deciding factor for the team. After the loss, they could not regain their confidence. In this context, the upcoming Asia Cup will hold great relevance for the men in blue.

Apart from facing Pakistan in the league stage, there is a prospect of the clash happening two more times in the competition. There are also games against the likes of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka if India qualifies for the next round. Hence, overall, it will be a good challenge and preparation for Rohit Sharma‘s men. India is likely to field its strongest squad for the competition. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are likely to feature in Asia Cup 2022.
